Card Holds
Stop chasing payments after the job is done. Card Holds places a temporary hold on your customer's saved card for the amount they'll owe, so the money is there when the visit is complete.
How It Works
Hold Before the Visit
Each night, visits in the next 48 hours get a hold on the customer's saved card for the amount owed, plus your card fee if you charge one.
Stay in Sync
If the amount changes more than a day before the visit, the hold is updated. If the visit is cancelled or moved out, the hold is released.
Collect From the Hold
When the invoice is paid, payment comes from the hold instead of a new charge. Anything above the hold is charged separately.
See Every Hold
A hold panel on every job and invoice shows the amount, the card and its status. A dedicated Card Holds page lists them all.
Release in One Click
Release a hold right away, or release it and stop holding that customer's card for the visit.
